BIRTHS FROM OLD BIRTH INDEX INCLUDES ALL COUNTIES AND CITIES FROM 1853-1896)
Birth and death records were not kept by the state from 1896 through 1912. The City of Richmond Health Department kept records for this period. They do not seem to be complete. There are many discrepancies in names of children and parents.

I don’t know who they are; can’t find match with other Burley records.
No record found of James Burley with wife named Mary.
James D. Burley and wife Prescia (?) lived in BROOKLYN TOWNSHIP. I believe Prescia(?) died Apr. 30, 1885. No record of second marriage for James.
Could this be child of their son James D. Burley, Jr.? Nothing has been found to indicate that he married and had a family.
