Tombstone Inscriptions - McLaughlin Family Tombstone Inscriptions
Cemetery tombstones are a unique source for genealogical information which often provides an excellent starting point in pursuing further study of one's family genealogy. Many tombstones contain vital information that will not be found anywhere else.
Hartland Village Cemetery is located just off Route 5 about 100 yards north of the intersection of Routes 5 and 12 (“Three Corners”), beside and behind the Church. It was established in 1763 and today is managed and maintained by the Town of Hartland. Several families moved graves from other cemeteries to the Village Cemetery after it was opened, so you may find graves here that were listed as another cemetery in the death record.
